doc page numbers? |

Hello Gnu.org-
Using my RedHat Linux version 6.2, I did this:
a. opened http://www.gnu.org/manual/manual.html
b. clicked (selected) make-379.1
c. clicked (selected) PostScript file (291K chars gzipped)
d. downloaded completely a file named make.ps.gz
e. using gunzip 1.2.4, did gunzip make.ps.gz getting make.ps
successfully
f. using lpr make.ps printed successfully
g. using ghostview printed successfully
As I read the document, it refers to page numbers throughout (and in its
index).
However, nowhere can I find or read a pagenumber.
Also, in all of the documentation of lpr, gzip and ghostview,
nowhere do I read how to cause pagenumbers to be printed.
Please tell me what I have overlooked.
