The situation is the same as Mr. Roland Puntaier.
So, I think it's difficult to create an example program by C.
Just in case, I've attached the c# programs & sources.
The following programs can launch on (Normal)Windows Vista/7.
(1) c#WindowsApplication\WindowsApplication\bin\Debug\windows.exe
(2) c#WindowsApplication\ConsoleApplication\bin\Debug\console.exe
These are created by the same source code.
But...
(1) is windows application with error.
(2) is console application without error.
I have no known cause...
