GET THE DEGREE FIRST. Their training course was also very intensive and in depth. Even then, you are going to live on a meager income.
The accent was definitely something they had never heard.
in the country you plan on teaching.

When you decide on a position you should have started a dialogue either by email, telephone, or face to face.
Tthere are exchange programs for teachers in places like Ireland, Australia, the UK etc. At first it seemed a little scary and I did not know what to expect, but in the end it all worked out for the best and they provided exactly what they said they would.
He said that most employers really couldn't care less what field your undegrad is in. If they need a teacher and you are the one they want they will accomodate your wishes. When looking at potential employers, think: why would everyone else look for persons with degrees, but this school only lists "native speaker, no degree necessary" in its advert? And, it introduced tons of vocabulary to them.
But thank you so much for your advice. You will have to realize you are going to need to work at whatever you do and leave the traveling for vacation time until you establish yourself and gain some experience. I went through a TEFL school that was well connected in the ESL world.
in fact, I don't know of any that don't.
Any suitable post grad courses you might recommend? for a period of two years.
