xfs support ?

Hi all !
I'd like to shrink the xfs partition on my notebook to get
a little space for a hypernation partition.
I've seen that parted has no xfs support besides being able
to detect it.
Are there any plans to improve the xfs support ? What would
be the main difficulty, if any ?
