Yes, /proc is mounted.

Yes.  /dev/rd/c0d0 is present.  When I run "parted /dev/rd/c0d0" it is
showing the partitions (both 1.4.x and 1.6.x).

Moreover, DAC960 module is also loaded.

Yes it uses libparted 1.4.x, but, we replaced both libparted and parted
with 1.6.x then tried, to see our efforts gone in vain. :(

Is anything to be enabled in the kernel?

Please guide us to solve this problem.
