Block 29688404 has no reference? Weird


I have a 160GB HD. I'm using Red Hat Linux and ran parted in a terminal 
window.

I removed the linux-swap partition and tried to resize partition 2 from 
101.975-155308.073 to 101.975-15000 to make space for more extended 
partitions so I can install several boot partitions for Linux and a couple 
of versions of Windows.

resize 2 101.975 15000

got me:
Warning: Filesystem was not cleanly unmounted! You should e2fsck.
Ignore Cancel? i
You found a bug in GNU Parted.
etc.
