Long story... basically, Parted's ext2 resizer can't deal with modern
ext2 file systems :/
Solution A: fix libparted... probably 1-2 weekends worth of work.
Solution B: make e2fsprogs more reusable, and use that... lots of work
(including politics).
I'm accepting patches for either solution...
