BUG IN PARTED

A bug has been detected in GNU parted.  Please email a bug report to  
containing the version (1.6.11) and the following message:
Assertion (disk != NULL) at ../../libparted/disk.c:1037 in function 
ped_disk_next_partition() failed.

i connected Apple iPod (mac version) to my firewire host, but Parted would not 
detect any partitions on it, and show error : "Critical error in 
ped_disk_duplicate!".
I think, that the source of the problem is invalid partition table on iPod.
but i don't know ehrer and why. iPod woks fine in Mac OS X and Windows.
hmm... it works fine in linux, but not in parted.
i can send you some sectors from ipod using dd if=/dev/sda 
of=/dev/file_for_you.
Just say size.
