If you still intend to use this binary, I can help you fixing this.

This is most likely because your ext2 file system has extended
attributes enabled, which is a feature GNU Parted does not support
yet.  The binary I sent you does not offer this functionality either.

What you can do is resize the partition (using fdisk, cfdisk or sfdisk)
and then run resize2fs on it.  This should work.
