Hi Joel, thanks fer reply.

you missed the point. maybe i was not clear enough.
the point is HOW TO MAKE that Type 8e Partition with parted ?? since all 
docs i read about parted told me that parted is not supporting type 8e 
partitions. but any simple fdisk can create them (but not on gpt it seems).

so how to make a type 8e partition on my GPT Disk-Drive using parted ???

and if not possible to creat a Type 8e (lvm) partition with parted.. 
WHAT ELSE partition type should i create so i can put a lvm volume on ?

PS: i know that lvm does not require "partitions" to put a PV on it.. 
but I WANT IT to have a partition on it so simple (old) partitioning 
programms can recognize there is something on that disk.  a pure LVM PV 
without any partition "frame" would not be recignized by other apps but 
lvm .

Understandable ? sorry. but im no native english speaker.. my english is 
poor.
