Ctrl+[left or right arrow] freezes gprolog

Dear community,

Using Ctrl+[left or right arrow] combination with the aim of jumping to resp. previous or next word freezes gprolog's prompt.
It is then neither possible to input any key, nor Ctrl+C/D key combination.

- Linux cabernet 2.6.32-54-generic #116-Ubuntu SMP Tue Nov 12 19:23:22 UTC 2013 x86_64 GNU/Linux (Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS)

- GNU Prolog version: 1.4.4 (64 bits)

- Steps to reproduce:
At any time being prompted, press Ctrl+[left arrow] or Ctrl+[right arrow]
