Great! This will teach me to be careful when casting pointers :D
    
    Btw, I had to edit autogen.sh for creating ./configure.
    In OSX, libtool and  libtoolize are called
           glibtool and glibtoolize.
    
Argh, that is extremely ugly.  Do they provide their own version of
libtool, or what?
