I tried
./configure --with-bash-headers=$HOME/tmp/_untartmp.dl.37nvcHlR/bash
where above points to where I untarred bash source code. configure is good; ie
it's happy to beuild readrec.so. When I run make it still fails; has trouble
finding
some bash headers. The bash headers appear to be in the bash source tree, but
the include PATH made by configure might be incomplete?
Any help/tips?
