Texinfo 4.5: info: select reference wrapped over line -> wrong node |

Hello.
I noticed recently in info (originally from texinfo 4.2, but reproduced with
texinfo 4.5) that if a reference wraps over onto a line which also has a
reference on it and I select the wrapped reference at the start of a line,
then it goes to wrong node.
Below is a some texinfo source, to demonstrate and reproduce this. I'm working
with an 80 column terminal.
If I build the info docs and then do "info -f ./test.info", I see:
---Start display snippet---
File: test.info, Node: Top, Next: areallyreallylongname, Prev:
baabaablacksh
eep, Up: (dir)
* Menu:
* areallyreallylongname::
* baabaablacksheep::
This is a boring sentence, just to ensure a line break (*note
areallyreallylongname::). *Note baabaablacksheep::.
---End display snippet---
So I'm interested in "areallyreallylongname", so I go to the start of the
line:
areallyreallylongname::). *Note baabaablacksheep::.
and hit enter. For some reason I end up at the node "baabaablacksheep".
Presumably info scans for the first "*[Nn]ote" and goes to that node?
This seems liek a usability bug to me.
Please CC me on replies, as I'm not subscribed to bug-texinfo.
Thanks, regards,
