(I'm using Google Translate.)
Hi,
There is a page similar to the following. (page1.html)
<html>
<head><title>page1</title></head>
<body>
<a href="page2.html"><img src="img/button.gif"></img></a>
</body>
</html>
I would like checks, including the files needed to the page of there is one
piece and display it.
I ran the following command.
# wget --spider -p http://example.com/page1.html
Just "page1.html" and "img/button.jpg", I hope that does not include the
"page2.html", but the result was the only "page1.html".
This command was ended by checking one page.
Because wget has not downloaded the index.html so "--spider", it did not
seem find the link of the image.
This might be the right move.
However, when I run the command in succession as follows, as a result wanted
can be obtained.
# wget -p http://example.com/page1.html
# wget --spider -p http://example.com/page1.html
Results of change and has a certain file in the current directory is
strange.
And, it is an error when I run the "--spider" once again here.
Is this a bug?
And, commands required to obtain the results of the first what?
Regards,
