Zebra Bug

From: Anthony Schirripa
Subject: Zebra Bug
Date: Mon, 01 Jul 2002 17:10:09 -0400
User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020513 Debian/1.0rc2-1

To Whom It May Concern:

I am trying to install the Zebra software on a RedHat7.3 machine, but I am getting some rather cryptic error messages upon entering the "make install" command. They are involved with a '.texi' file and makeinfo. Here is what it looks like:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

cd .  && makeinfo `echo install.texi | sed 's,.*/,,'`
./install.texi:1: Next reference to nonexistent node `Basic commands'.
./install.texi:1: Prev reference to nonexistent node `Overview'.
./install.texi:1: Up reference to nonexistent node `Top'.
./install.texi:218: Cross reference to nonexistent node `Config Commands'.
./install.texi:159: Cross reference to nonexistent node `Bug Reports'.
./install.texi:168: Cross reference to nonexistent node `Kernel Interface'.
./install.texi:162: Cross reference to nonexistent node `Kernel Interface'.
makeinfo: Removing output file `install.info' due to errors; use --force to
preserve.
*** Error code 2

Stop.
*** Error code 1

Stop.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I have the most recent version of makeinfo (4.1), and after commenting out the makeinfo section of the make file I was able to install without a problem, however no docs were generated. Just thought I'd let you know. Thanks.
