Mostly manually. I have a trivial script called "runallschemes" that
executes all 28 Schemes in turn. I put the code in the X selection,
and then I can enter and execute it in each REPL with a middle-click.
I could put the test in a script file. However, it often happens (though
not in this case) that the code needs some adjustment for a particular
Scheme, such as importing some library or perhaps supplying some standard
procedure used in the test because the Scheme doesn't have it (though
I try to word tests as carefully as possible). Having the REPL is very
useful in those cases.
