Since you documented these clearly I guess it isn't a big problem, but
do note that this will break source-compatibility with existing peers.
Since I could not quickly find any other documentation of these
extensions I doubt there are many existing peer implementations that
already support the extensions. Does this impact the xlib peer in libgcj
for example?
