[Commit-gnuradio] r6152 - gnuradio/trunk/usrp/host/lib/legacy

From: michaelld
Subject: [Commit-gnuradio] r6152 - gnuradio/trunk/usrp/host/lib/legacy
Date: Fri, 17 Aug 2007 20:35:43 -0600 (MDT)

Author: michaelld
Date: 2007-08-17 20:35:43 -0600 (Fri, 17 Aug 2007)
New Revision: 6152

Modified:
   gnuradio/trunk/usrp/host/lib/legacy/README_OSX
   gnuradio/trunk/usrp/host/lib/legacy/circular_buffer.h
   gnuradio/trunk/usrp/host/lib/legacy/circular_linked_list.h
   gnuradio/trunk/usrp/host/lib/legacy/fusb_darwin.cc
   gnuradio/trunk/usrp/host/lib/legacy/mld_threads.h
Log:
Fixed use of mutex and condition, which corrects a long-standing rare
bug over contention of shared variables.

For -all- systems I've tested on thus far, both of these return
exactly 41 overruns / underruns, and -most- systems start out with a
-stalled pipe. This stall comes in a usb_control funciton call to
+stalled pipe. This stall comes in a usb_control function call to
LIBUSB; one would have to change the LIBUSB code to handle this issue.
