Thanks.  makeinfo even warns about that one:

  make[2]: Entering directory `/h/j/w/co/cu/doc'
    MAKEINFO coreutils.info
  coreutils.texi:4913: warning: `.' or `,' must follow @xref, not `f'.
  coreutils.texi:5051: warning: `.' or `,' must follow @xref, not `f'.
  coreutils.texi:16113: warning: `.' or `,' must follow @xref, not `f'.

I've added those three commas.
