Well on the first you have the speed issue... but on the
second you will remove the option to parse the files throug
scripts and so on...
Btw.. i have been reading some about the mysqlapi.. And it
seems that when running the mysql_init on the mysql socket
there is a flag that gets set that will cause queries to
reconnect to the mysql server if they have lost the connection..
I have just successfully had testapp running here for about 48h.

In fact, no. I also though xml is slower than sql but it is
not exact. There is 2 methods to use XML file: reread the
XML from file at each access or load it in memory, parse it
and work on the ready to use version (a lot faster).
