Version 3.2.1 Install question

Hello!  I'm having a little trouble installing a version of ddd on my
linux (RedHat 7.0) box.  I've installed lesstif release 0.91.1 and then
tried to install ddd.  The configuration went well, but when I went to
build using the makefile it produced this error:

PannedGE.C: In function `void __static_initialization_and_destruction_0 
(int, int)':
PannedGE.C:88: non-lvalue in unary `&'
make[1]: *** [PannedGE.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ddd-3.2.1/ddd'
make: *** [all] Error 1

Is there something I can do to fix this?
