Problem Compiling DDD

To Whom It May Concern:

I have a Mandrake Linux 8.0 system and acquired DDD from www.gnu.org.  I
had to make various links between the most recent Lesstif (0.92) dynamic
libraries and the ones configure was looking for.  Once that was
accomplished, configure built a Makefile.  However, when make is
executed, many include files attempt to include a non-existent
X11/Intrinsic.h file.

I know from programming Motif that this is a header file included with
the standard Motif installation.  However, my version of Lesstif does
not seem to have that file at all.  I do have the development rpm
(Mandrake) of Lesstif installed.  Most other header files for Lesstif
appear to be present, however, I do not have an X11/ include directory
(I have files like Primitive.h and PushBG.h in
/usr/X11R6/LessTif/Motif2.0/include/Xm).

What's wrong?
