Just add at the front of your PATH the directory where your gdb binary
resides. In case this binary file is not named gdb but e.g.
gdb-sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1 use the option --debugger:
$ ddd --debugger gdb-sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1 &
