Hi there Deborah,

Your build looks flawless.  But I have a few questions:

1.  I see that you're using a pre-release version of GCC.
    Can you try with a released version, either 3.4.1 or
    3.3.4?
2.  You're using LessTif, but are you sure that your
    LD_LIBRARY_PATH specifies the location of LessTif
    correctly?  Mixing Motif and LessTif is a bad idea.
    You need to make sure that the headers with which
    you compiled match the libraries with which you
    link.  What does "ldd ./ddd" say?
3.  It looks like you did a "make check" -- was it
    successful?  If so, then it looks like no.2 is
    the problem.

If it's none of these things, can you get us a backtrace?
