[Debian-sf-users] ldap_bind: can't contact LDAP server

I am in process of setting up several debian sourceforge sites in the office, I currently have a prototype machine running 2.5-30+ from the cvs build,  I have prepared another machine that will be a production system but I am having a problem with LDAP (same problem with 2.5-29, 2.5-30+ and 2.6-12+).  Below are the install-ldap.sh {purge | reset | configure} printouts for 2.5-29

for  2.5-29 and 25-30+ LDAP Server KO and for 2.6-12+ it was LDAP server Dead.  I have checked the /etc/libnss-ldap.conf, /etc/ldap/slapd.conf everything is in order my system is pecp2.nwd-mr.usace.army.mil everything resides on the same system
