Summary: add new rpc add_participant() & modify rpc update_participant() 
behavior

* demexp-server: add new rpc add_participant(). Modify previous rpc
  update_participant() to only update participant's information (and not
  add a new one if not existing as in the previous behavior). Add or
  update corresponding autotests.

* minor code cleanup in demexp-server.ml.nw ("open Work" removal).
