Specifically, I am having trouble using the a through g keys plus the
y u i o p keys to make whole, half [etc] notes. Pressing a space bar
does produce a quarter note, and typing a through g does take the
cursor to the nearest appropriate place on the scale.
These shortcuts come from the "PDF Denemo Manual" listed first on the
Help: Manual page. It contains dated information and several mistakes.
Could we remove this from the website, or move it to an archival location?
As Jeremiah mentioned in a previous email, the correct shortcuts are:
0 = whole
1 = half
2 = quarter note
3 = eigth
4 = sixteenth
etc ...
I have also notice that a red exclaimation mark appears near the front
of the score without apparent reason or pattern that I can discern.
The red exclamation mark appears if the total note lengths within a
measure exceed the length of the measure. It is sort of a musical
equivalent to spell check or grammar check.
