I've fixed the select behaviour. I have set mouse-left-press to be the
Set Mark in the Default.cmdset, rather than it happening automatically
(and hence uncontrollably).

I've also added a couple of cursors to Default.cmdset
If you press Shift while dragging with left mouse button notes move in
pitch, and the cursor shows up&down arrow.
If you set CapsLock then dragging with left mouse button puts in slurs
with the cursor set to umbrella indicate what is happening.

These are just quick examples. Please contribute cursors for cresc and
dim etc if you have time. 
There is such a lot to do...
