Ok thanks, I got the current git version to compile in OBS.

But there has been a misunderstanding it seems, about the first point I made
in this report: it isn't necessary to rename the denemo.png file to "denemo".
I only wanted to point out that the freedesktop standard says that the "Icon"
entry in the .desktop file should only contain "denemo", not "denemo.png".

This might even be a non issue because it works either way in practice, it
seems .

So I suggest to rename the icon file to "denemo.png" but leave the desktop
"Icon" entry as "denemo".

Installing to /usr/share/pixmaps fixed the issue I was having.

Sorry for the confusion, I hope to have cleared it up now...
