I would like to extract scheme code from xml files. That would make the translation a lot easier (no need for extract_scheme tool). It should take a few days. Do you think it is possible to wait I finish this before releasing 1.0.4, so all the major datafile refactoring happen at the same time for the users ( xml translatability + scheme extraction ) ? If not, it can wait :)

To extract the scheme code for commands from the source tree requires a
utility as it is embedded in the xml files and nowhere else.
extract_scheme.c is an example of such a utility.
