Follow-up Comment #1, bug #40783 (project denemo):
Progress!
The error message was a bit misleading (to me at least), in external.c i've
included "utils.h" now, to get the prototype of get_user_data_dir(), and added
a 0 in each call to it (gboolean "create" parameter) as the compiler
complained without passing something. this made it finally compile, see the
attachments for this and the few other changes i had to apply.
So all is well now, my openSUSE packages for 12.2, 12.3, Tumbleweed and
Factory, both 32 and 64bit (only Factory doesn't build for 64 bit ATM due to
some missing dependencies, i'll look into that later if it doesn't resolve by
itself), are going to be published right now or a bit later today.
