the documentation for these is in the user manual:
GetNoteAtCursor. Returns LilyPond note at the cursor position or #f if
none
GetDots. Returns the number of dots on the note at the cursor, or #f if
no note
GetNoteBaseDuration. Returns the base duration of the note at the cursor
number=0, 1, 2 for whole half quarter note etc, or #f if none
GetNoteDuration. Returns the duration in LilyPond syntax of the note at
the cursor, or #f if none
