Hi,
Totally by surprise tonight, a friend of mine showed up with a brand new
Pico Tech ADC-212/100 dual channel digital oscilloscope and gave it to
me. This is a fairly ideal front-end for GNU Radio experimentation and
software development.
I have no real idea why he would give me a piece of gear worth over
AU$2000 but he evidently thought I needed it. He was buying another of
these units for himself as well as a very expensive spectrum analyser
from the same company, so did a package deal and got a second unit for
me to use. I should now be able to contribute to the GNURadio software
development efforts.

Specs:
100MS/s single-shot
5GS/s for repeat measurements
12-bit
2 input channels, plus combo trigger in/sig-gen out, on BNCs
128k sample memory
Parallel port interface
Linux and Windows drivers
Can be used as a 50MHz, 80dB Spectrum Analyser
