A Forum on Open Architecture Reconfigurable Wireless Technology

SDR '04 Technical Conference and Product Exposition/41st General Meeting

The Software Defined Radio Forum's SDR '04 Technical Conference and Product Exposition will be held in Phoenix, Arizona on November 15-18, 2004 at the Doubletree Paradise Valley. Due to the large number of outstanding technical papers, the Technical Conference has been extended to four days. The conference focuses on technology, standards and business activity related to software radios and provides an international perspective of the current state of the art.

The Conference will be followed by the November SDR Forum General Meeting, which will be held on November 19. Registration forms and a link for room reservations are now available from the main conference page

Nominations are now being accepted for The SDR Forum Awards to be presented at the General Meeting. The awards are given in two categories - The SDR Forum Industry Achievement Award and The SDR Forum Contributor Award. Please use this form for your nominations.


SDR Forum 40th General Meeting
The Meeting Report from the 40th General Meeting of the SDR Forum held September 14-15, 2004 in Seoul, South Korea is now available. It was held after the Future Wireless Workshop on September 13 and the SCA Workshop on the morning of September 14. The Meeting Report includes links to presentations at these events.


OMG documents available for SDR Forum Review
In accordance with the liaison agreement established between the Object Management Group and the SDR Forum, the OMG's RFP for PIM and PSM Components and the PIM and PSM Specification have been made available for review by SDR Forum members. SDR Forum 39th General Meeting
The Meeting Report from the 39th General Meeting of the SDR Forum held June 15-17, 2004 in Toronto, Canada is now available.

A Workshop on Software Portability was held on June 14. The presentations from this workshop can be downloaded here.
