You mean like unrestricted firewire ports have been appearing on HDTV gear today?
Seriously, the computer industry is going to be more and more in bed with the consumer
electronics and media industries ... just look at the odd restrictions imposed by Windows
Media Center Edition PCs.

I just found another attempt to foist HDCMP (DRM on video cables) on us:
