Dear all,
While installing gnuradio-core-2.6, when I execute make check I get
Traceback (most recent call last):

import Numeric
ImportError: No module named Numeric
I have seen past emails in mailing-list. It gives some clue on what causes
such errors, but doesn't give solutions. The problem,I notice, is in
setting pythonpath.
I installed using --prefix so, the Numeric, numarray packages are in my
user space /sk2552/gr/lib64/python2.3/site-packages/Numeric and NOT in
/usr/lib...
In my .bashrc, I set my PYTHONPATH as
export GR=$HOME/gr
PATH=.:$GR/bin:$PATH
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=$GR/lib/pkgconfig/
export
PYTHONPATH=$GR/lib/python2.3/site-packages:$GR/lib/python2.3/site-packages/Numeric:/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages:$GR/lib64/python2.3/site-packages:$GR/lib64/python2.3/site-packages/Numeric
I tried installing Numeric without --prefix, and as expected it denied cos
I do not have root privileges.
In emailing-lists someone suggested to create Numeric.pth in
/usr/lib....directory, again denied for the same reason.
Please suggest a solution to this problem (and please point out where I am
making mistakes).
Thanks,
Regards,
Siva
