The March issue contains an introduction to SDR and cognitive radio by 
Steven Ashley.  Vanu is mentioned but not GNURadio, even as a source for 
further information.

Interesting mention of MEMS-RF and the absence of WLAN telephony due to 
carrier resistance but nothing about the controversy of SDR vs. wireless 
regulation.
