[Discuss-gnuradio] USRP/RFX2400 Question

I recently purchased a USRP and RFX2400 daughterboard and am slowly 
learning the ropes. Right now I'm trying to acquire 802.11b signals. 
When I run "usrp_oscope.py" the daughterboard doesn't seem to be sensing 
any signals at all even though there are numerous ones in the immediate 
vicinity. I have the corresponding antenna for the 2400 series but have 
not hooked it up. Would that make a difference? I was also thinking that 
maybe the signals would not be visible on the oscope, so I could write 
some python code to acquire data every time unit and print it to a text 
file and then analyze it. Any ideas on what my problem could be? Thanks
