[Discuss-gnuradio] Forward Error Correction in GNURadio

I'm just trying to gather information about what types of FEC are currently available in GNURadio.

A quick scan of directories shows me:
Reed-Solomon (no changes in 4 years)
Trellis / Viterbi (created by Achilleas?)

Are there any others? (could we maybe reorganize them into a unified /fec/ directory?)
What is the status of these two packages? Still being tested, or fairly robust / thoroughly debugged?
Is anybody actively using either, or both concatenated?

Roughly how computationally taxing are these? Or equivalently, what sorts of bit rates have people pushed through these blocks?
