It would
be useful to create a C++ hierarchical block that encapsulates an audio source
and exposes accessor methods to manipulate the gains and filters. See
the pattern for the gr_channel_model block in the gnuradio-core/src/lib/hier
directory. This would allow use from C++, Python, and GRC
apps.
