then I ignore the error and make install,  and get error on benchmark.py

I'm assuming you are running Ubuntu 11.04?

I addressed this problem in the build guide (http://gnuradio.org/redmine/wiki/gnuradio/UbuntuInstall):

sudo apt-get -y install libxi-dev
