The activity levels on the discuss-gnuradio mailing list reflect the
great success of the project but this may also make it easier for people
to miss important announcements, like the recent one about GNU Radio
Conference 2016
Would it be feasible to setup a gnuradio-announce list just for the big
announcements?
Things like events, the start of GSoC and significant changes to the
project leadership structure could be sent to gnuradio-announce
