Hi vempati,
You need to blacklist the default driver for the RTL.
Create/open this file: sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/rtlsdr-blacklist.conf
And add the 3 lines below to it, and then restart your machine.
blacklist dvb_usb_rtl28xxu
blacklist rtl2832
blacklist rtl2830
