[Discuss-gnuradio] Commercial Transmitters in IEEE 802.11 a/g/p Transceiver

Hi all,

I have a small query regarding IEEE 802.11 a/g/p Transceiver:

Can any commercial device along with packet generator software be used as transmitters for this 802.11 receiver? If yes, what are some packet generators suggested for this purpose? If no, can you suggest modifications for allowing the set up to do so?
