Hopefully I can be a bit helpful. First of all, OOT modules certainly can have source blocks, take a look at gr-osmosdr for example. Second, it's much easier for us to read your message if you paste the text into the email rather than attaching a word document.

Onto your actual issue though, I don't understand what waveform you are trying to create. Do you have an example waveform done in simulation that you can show us? Have you verified the output of your OOT block(s) without the USRP connected? Do you see any "L" or "U" characters printed while running the flowgraph? Those indicate Late commands and buffer Underruns where you are not sending enough data to the USRP.

Since only you have the code of your OOT module, it's difficult to give specific advice. Can you at least share screenshots of your flowgraph(s)?

20 MS/s is a lot of data (160 MB/s if using complex floats) to be saving to disk. Have you tested this alone and ensured that you are not loosing data here?
