i'm using 1.0.0 versions, is this problem solved in more recent versions?

> when i compile gnustep-base,  GSConfig.h & config.h are placed in the / (root dir) and even if i try and set the GNUSTEP_INSTALLATION_DIR? var, (i've found it in a few places) the script replaces it each time. its very anoying, and it never completes compilation.

thats the only one i've gotten so far, and since i don't understand GNUstep's Makefile system, i can't fix it easily.
