Hi,

I found a project <http://macgpg.sourceforge.net/> to provide a front
end for gpgme - an api for gnupg. Currently they have a framework for
MacOS X, which could be very useful (as should subsequent tools
hopefully), particularly for GNUMail.

Anyway, being foolish I tried compiling it for gnustep. I had to
create a makefile, and add a couple of #imports. This compiled and
installed great (it alleges). However there were a couple of oddities:

1) The framework installed in $GNUSTEP_ROOT/Local/Library/ under
Frameworks/GPGME.frameworks, plus (symlinks?) under Libraries and
Headers. This seemed ok, but compiling didn't have
.../Library/Libraries in the lib path. That seems wrong, yes?
$HOME/GNUStep/Local/Libraries was there.

2) I added the path in the makefile and compiled a test app
(non-GUI). It dies with a "Uncaught exception NSRangeException,
reason: Index out of bounds". That's ok, but how do I debug in
gnustep - especially frameworks?

I'm using the ppc rpms, btw.

I'm not experienced with GNUStep, but it would be nice to get this
project working on both OSX and GS as an example to other OSX projects.

PS if anyone wants my dodgy makefile and (trivial) changes I can email
them.
