Hi,
sorry if this is not the right group to ask, but...
I am trying to make GNUstep work on Irix 6.5.x. Thus I recently installed
gcc 3.0.1 on my box and now I see that it was compiled using --disable-shared.
What does that exactly mean? I remember that this flag was not set for the
gcc 3.0.0 I had before.
nephilim 79% gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/freeware/lib/gcc-lib/mips-sgi-irix6.5/3.0.1/specs
Configured with: ../configure --prefix=/usr/freeware
--enable-version-specific-runtime-libs --disable-shared --enable-threads
--enable-haifa
Thread model: single
gcc version 3.0.1
Additionally, do I need to install/use ffcall when using gcc 3.x?
thanks,
-Phil
