Ok, I launch ./configure only and the compilation worked well.
Many thanks.
I now tried to compile gnustep-gui :
$ ./configure
$ make
And I got the following error :
Making all for service example...
./shared_obj/ix86/linux-gnu/gnu-gnu-gnu/make_services: error while loading
shared libraries: libgnustep-base.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such
file or directory
Why ? The directory hosting libgnustep-base.so is on my environment
variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH !
$ ldd Tools/shared_obj/ix86/linux-gnu/gnu-gnu-gnu/make_services
libgnustep-base.so.1 =>
/usr/GNUstep/System/Libraries/ix86/linux-gnu/gnu-gnu-gnu/libgnustep-base.so.1
(0x40016000)
libobjc.so.1 => /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-pc-linux-gnu/3.0.4/libobjc.so.1
(0x40219000)
libz.so.1 => /usr/lib/libz.so.1 (0x4022f000)
libxml2.so.2 => /usr/lib/libxml2.so.2 (0x4023d000)
libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x402ec000)
libgmp.so.3 => /usr/lib/libgmp.so.3 (0x4030e000)
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x4033e000)
libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x40354000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40357000)
libgcc_s.so.1 => /usr/lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x4047c000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)
When I launched it manually, it found it !
Well, I had that directory into /etc/ld.so.conf, launched
ldconfig, and the compilation of gnustep-gui ends correctly. Curious.
thanks !
